## Description

**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:** The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to GE Healthcare for ComboLab & MacLab software and hardware, telephone support and onsite support for Catheterization Lab (CATH) and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs.

Services to be performed at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive Campus, Pittsburgh, PA 15240. IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to GE Healthcare. Per FAR 13.106-1(b) VA requires ComboLab & MacLab software & Hardware for VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) Cardiology departments nursing operations.

The ComboLab & MacLab is utilized in all Catherization Lab (CATH) and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs at the VA PTHS. This software is required to simplify the management of complex Cath lab and Electrophysiology (EP) treatments and techniques with the GE HEALTHCARE ComboLab & MacLab which allows the nursing staff document, operate procedures, and collect valuable data for clinical decision making.

Without the GE system support the department jeopardizes their operation and could halt the continuous treatment to Patients at VA PTHS Cardiology. Requirement is for a base year with four (4) option years, exercisable at the Government s discretion. This critical components with Software and Hardware required per the Statement of Work below. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS or QUOTATIONS.

Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work and licenses for Software. Capability information is required by 10 AM ET, Monday, January 22, 2024, to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
