Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. \n\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 02 Network Contracting Office, in support of the Buffalo VA Medical Center, is seeking sources capable of furnishing testing reagents and associated consumables necessary to perform tuberculosis testing for VISN 2 that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics listed below.\n\nThe contractor shall provide all reagents, controls, consumables, and related materials required for the successful performance of tuberculosis testing.\n\nItems may include, but are not limited to:\n\nTuberculosis test kits.\nPositive and negative controls.\nCell separation and processing reagents.\nRequired consumables and ancillary supplies.\nManufacturer-provided quality control materials.\nProduct inserts and technical documentation.\nTechnical support services.\n\nThe VA is seeking a domestic source (manufactured in the United States) equivalent to the following salient characteristics:\n\nThe required reagents shall:\n\nBe compatible with the T-SPOT® TB testing platform and methodology. \nBe FDA-cleared for clinical diagnostic use in the United States, as applicable. \nBe new, unused, and commercially available. \nBe delivered in original manufacturer packaging. \nInclude sufficient remaining shelf life upon delivery. \nMeet all manufacturer specifications for testing accuracy and performance. \nBe suitable for use in a clinical laboratory environment accredited under applicable standards. \nInclude all documentation necessary for use, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. \nBe supported by manufacturer technical assistance and customer support. \nBe capable of maintaining continuity of supply throughout the contract period.\n\nThe information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory.
