This Sources Sought is for the James Peters VA Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468, who has a requirement for long block engine repair on a Spinal Cord Bus for one (1) month from award date. All parts, labor, fees, and materials shall be included in the purchase order to perform: Internal component replacement/refresh: Crankshaft, pistons, rings, bearings, camshaft, and valvetrain parts are reground, replaced, or reconditioned. Valve job: Pressure testing, resurfacing, and new stem seals for optimal airflow Precision machining: Block deck honing, cylinder boring/honing, main bearing bore alignment, and valve seat machining. Seals and gaskets: New cam bearings, freezing plugs, and gasket sets. Complete assembly: Engine is assembled with new or remanufactured parts, then tested for oil pressure, vacuum, and compression.
