## Description

The James J. Peters (JJP) Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Transplant Program relies on external laboratory partnerships to support critical transplant-related diagnostics and logistics. These services are essential throughout all phases of transplant care pre-transplant, intra-operative, and post-transplant.

The program requires courier services capable of providing both scheduled and unscheduled critical deliveries promptly, securely, and in compliance with regulations and standards by federal, state, local laws, and guidelines and protocols from organizations and agencies. Additionally, the courier service must ensure the timely delivery of blood and tissue samples for diagnostic testing in post-transplant patients experiencing complications. These services are essential and crucial for guiding clinical decisions and ensuring positive transplant outcomes.
