NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to Leica Biosystems, 10 Parkway North STE 300, Deerfield, IL 60015 for preventative maintenance and repairs of Leica equipment (listed below) for the Brooklyn VAMC Pathology Laboratory located at 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209-7104, from 02/01/2026 to 01/31/2027, including four (4) option years.

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes that it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the listed response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 01/07/2026 at 10:00am EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Daniel Zielinski. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted.
