This proposed contract action is for a service in which the Government intends to award a firm fixed-price equipment retrofit contract with only one source; Eastern Heating and Cooling Inc., 880 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207 under the authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. **Places of Performance:** Department of Veterans Affairs Stratton VA Oncology Unit 113 Holland Ave Albany, NY 12208 Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Special Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of retrofitting Automated Logic based building control system at Stratton VA, Albany, New York. General Requirements To retrofit the controls for one air handing unit servicing our Oncology clean room suite. The contractor shall install Automated Logic controls Direct Digital Control controls for the Oncology mixing room Air Handler Unit 1-9A and all associated HVAC equipment. The components must all be of the same manufacturer/brand Response: Responses to this Special Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above.
