The period of performance for contract award will be on or about September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, with a provision of three (3) option years. This requirement is to provide the VA Airborne Hazards and Burn Pits Center of Excellence (AHBPCE) with services from the University of Michigan that has extensive knowledge and expertise in quantitative analysis of high-resolution chest computed tomography (HRCT) scans. They will provide data management and quantitative analysis services of HRCTs. The AHBPCE has acquired paired inspiratory and expiratory HRCTs from Veterans referred for clinical evaluation and/or volunteers for research. The VA interest is in quantifying multiple endpoints from these scans using quantitative CT (qCT) analysis. for the NJ VA Medical Center 385 Tremont Ave., East Orange, NJ 07018. University of Michigan is the only known provider since they are performing advance cutting-edge research that isn t yet available as a commercial product.
