## Description

Special Notice Page 3 of 3 The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain extended warranty, maintenance and flood readiness verification for the FloodBreak passive automatic barriers installed at the NY Harbor Healthcare System Manhattan Campus.

Period of performance: 07/01/2025-6/30/2030 Basic description of the requirement: FloodBreak LLC, is the only vendor capable of providing an extended warranty, maintenance, flood readiness verification, factory trained service technicians and parts to maintain the five (5) FloodBreak passive automatic barriers at the NY Harbor Healthcare System Margaret Cochran Corbin Campus (Manhattan). FloodBreak LLC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the FloodBreak passive automatic barriers and shall provide OEM service and parts.

However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by May 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time (ET). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.

Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FLOODBREAK SERVICE in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned.
