## Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs East Orange VAMC (Lyons Clinic) intends to award a Sole Source open market action contract for the purchase of an Interacoustics Eclipse Electrophysiology System.

**Name of Contractor:**

**E3 Diagnostics, LLC Street Address:**

**3333 N. Kennicott Ave City, State, Zip:** Arlington Heights, IL 60004 Audiologists will be able to complete ABRs which objectively assesses the auditory pathway and is often used as a cost-effective option to determine the possibility of acoustic neuromas. Audiologist will also be able to use this system for VEMP testing which tests a portion of the vestibular system that cannot be tested by VNG and rotary chair evaluation. Installation and training will be required.

The reason that this is the recommended sole-source is because the lab already has existing Interacoustics diagnostic audiology equipment and they will interface with each other seamlessly. E3 Diagnostics is the authorized distributor for these items in New York and New Jersey; they alone provide training and installation for the facility and its staff.
