The Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus VA Cardiology Section has an emergency request for three additional ACIST CVI Injectors to support the new Hybrid OR clinic program. The new Hybrid OR clinic and the daily operation at the Cardiology Section are in critical need of the extra equipment to support the mission and to promote safety standards for coronary procedures for our Veterans who rely on this equipment.

The ACIST injector allows the provider to safely inject precise amounts of contrast and pre-determined pressures to visualize the coronaries. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. The VA is utilizing VAAR 819.7008 Sole Source awards to Verified Service- Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business in accordance with FAR 6.302-5.
