The new Hybrid OR clinic and the daily operation at the Cardiology Section are in critical need of the extra equipment to support the mission and to promote safety standards for coronary procedures for our Veterans who rely on this equipment. The ACIST injector allows the provider to safely inject precise amounts of contrast and pre-determined pressures to visualize the coronaries. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
