## Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Bronx VAMC awarded a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source action to:

**MILWAUKEE, WI 53209 Statement of Work:** This service for the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468 to furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, and material necessary to replace York Chiller 3 YMC2 VSD control cabinet in the Bldg. 101. (boiler plant).

**Scope of Work:** Contractor must Lock out Tag Out (LOTO) all electrical sources at the chiller and the switch gear room and remove all connections to the cabinet. Contractor must rig the damaged cabinet down and dispose of it and rig the new cabinet in place and secure it. Contractor must reconnect all connections to the cabinet, restore power, and test of the entire electrical system. Contractor must test chiller to ensure full functionality.

Equipment to be repaired: Asset Customer Tag Serial Number Description 1-1OA5UCJR York Chiller 3 SHFM-209510 Chiller, Water Cooled, Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal, 250-450 Tons This notice of intent to sole source with justification satisfies the public posting requirements of FAR 13.501. This notice is not a request for quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
