## Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Syracuse VAMC intends to award a Sole Source Base Subscription plus 4 year option open market action contract beginning 9/1/2024-8/31/2029. The option years are provisional depending on evaluation.

**525 Junction Rd, STE 5000 City, State, Zip:** Madison, WI 53717 Syracuse VA Medical Center Pharmacy Service needs a software program to for tracking the restock of medication trays found in emergency code carts. The pharmacy s current process involves recording emergency code cart information on paper forms which hinders the ability to track expired medications, manage medication recalls and evaluate aggregate data.

The reason for this Sole-Source award is that Simplifi+Â®MedTrays is a software add-on to the Simplifi 797Â®(which is the currently used) platform which offers consistent and efficient workflows to improve accuracy, traceability and oversight of critical medications distributed throughout the hospital. By utilizing the product available by Simplifi it will minimize additional training needs for staff.

This is NOT a request for quotes. however, any responsible firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification and capability statements prior to the response due date and time. Vendors shall indicate if they are the direct supplier of the items. Responses are due by Monday, 8/4/2024 at 4:00 PM.(ET).
