The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Providence Healthcare System, is seeking to identify qualified small business sources capable of providing licensed clinical therapy services in support of a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy in military Veterans with co-occurring Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder (PTSD-AUD). The anticipated requirement is a non-personal services, Labor Hour IDIQ contract with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option years. Performance will be on-site at VA Providence Healthcare System, 830 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI 02908; this is not a remote position. Contractors would serve as co-therapists on MDMA-assisted therapy dyads, providing approximately 64.5 hours of therapy per participant, including preparatory psychotherapy sessions, 8-hour experimental medication sessions, integration sessions, consultation/supervision, and required clinical documentation, in accordance with the approved study protocol and applicable VA, FDA, and Human Subjects Research requirements.
