The vendor, Siemens Medical, is required to ensure that this medical device system meets all OEM safety and functional standards. BACKGROUND: The IR C-arm is used by the radiology department located in IR West Roxbury. The system is basically used to diagnose and treat patients with brain, breast, lung, and other cancer issues. SCOPE & PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The scope of services provided will include: The vendor-trained Field Engineer will perform corrective maintenance on EE # 226991, which is currently down. The vendor will perform the corrective maintenance on site in the C-arm IR department at West Roxbury location. In the event that the scanner system is found to require any kind of additional repair service beyond the scope of the corrective maintenance, the vendor will reach out to Clinical Engineering and procure written authorization to proceed w/ any such repair. At the completion of the corrective maintenance service, the vendor will certify that the IR C-arm system is in full working order and performing in conformity to all OEM safety and functional standards. The Vendor will provide a complete service report detailing all repair and testing performed on the scanner.
