ASP is the only manufacturer of the STERRAD platform and holds exclusive rights to its proprietary hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilization technology, consumables, software, firmware, installation, and technical support. No third party vendors are authorized to provide OEM installation, warranty service, or required trade in programs, and the only SDVOSB reseller identified (TrillaMed) cannot offer OEM exclusive trade in discounts or pricing, resulting in significantly higher cost to the Government . The White River Junction VA Medical Center currently operates STERRAD equipment under prior procurements (e.g., POÂ 405 B08005 and POÂ 405 A14054), and the required systems are direct replacements necessary to maintain compatibility with existing sterilization workflows, infection control infrastructure, validated HPGP cycles, consumables, and interoperability. Alternate brands (e.g., STERIS V PRO, Tuttnauer PlazMax, Getinge STERICOOL, Steelco/Belimed VS/MST series) cannot meet the Government s minimum needs without causing major disruptions to clinical processes, retraining, and safety validations, as documented in the facility s justification package attached. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties that believe they can meet this requirement may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide an OEM certified STERRAD NX and STERRAD 100NX system directly comparable to ASP.
