KCI provides this device and all its supplies. They are used throughout the inpatient facility wound therapy It performs very well, our staff are already trained in its operations, supplies are already stocked for use. Any departure from this product would cause a change in policy, procedures, possibly waste of existing supplies, and create a necessity for training all staff in its use before deployment.

Our Surgical teams and Nursing teams have determined based upon firsthand use and knowledge of wound vacuum products that the KCI wound Vacuums system is a superior product and provides the very best wound therapy outcomes for our Veterans. For these reasons we request to maintain using KCI USA for this need. This company also offers education and technical support 24 hours a day. and prosthetics.
