Background/Justification The West Haven VA s Respiratory Therapy Service is requesting the purchase of Vapotherm HVT Transfer units. Without this equipment, VACT will lack non-invasive ventilation support options. The device is particularly effective for post-extubation support and as a primary treatment for respiratory distress.
