STATEMENT OF WORK Patient Nourishment Refrigerators VHA Boston MA General Information: VA Boston Healthcare System has a requirement for the purchase of 8 Everest Refrigeration Model No. ESRFH2 Reach-In Dual Temperature Refrigerator/Freezer Combo. These would serve as patient nourishment fridges that meet Joint Commission standard. The refrigerator must meet the following criteria: Purpose-built for storage of patient nourishment items.

Factory preset temperature, 35°F for refrigerators and -4°F for freezers Temperature setting range from 33°F to 54°F for refrigerators and -10° F to 54° F for freezers Easy to read digital temperature display Microchip digital monitoring system with a variety of functions to monitor and maintain optimum temperature Equipped with door locks Self-contained condensing unit located at top of cabinet for high performance Oversized condenser and evaporator coil cools to set and maintain temperature in minimum time period Forced-air cooling with dual evaporator fan motors providing balanced airflow throughout cabinet to ensure faster temperature drop Automatic defrost with adjustable cycle defrost Capacity 11.0 cu. ft.

ADA compatible height Shelving will be wire and adjustable Inclusion of digital thermostat Must have interior light Inclusion of three-year parts and labor warranty Inclusion of ten-year compressor warranty These refrigerators shall be delivered to:
