## Description

This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is not a solicitation. The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with: TUCKER-DAVIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. 11930 RESEARCH CIR ALACHUA, FL 32615 UEI: XNTKKW5W4LK1 This is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to procure a fiber photometry system for VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury Campus. The contractor will provide all components of the required system to support ongoing preclinical rodent studies.

This equipment will allow for fluorescence-based recording of neural activity at three wavelengths in multiple brain regions of freely behaving rodents. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities on SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS is 334516. The size standard is 1000 employees.
