This notice satisfies the posting requirements at FAR Part 5.101. The intended Contractor is Abbott Laboratories located at 200 Abbott Park Road, Abbott Park, IL 60064. Place of Performance is the Brockton VA Medical Center, Brockton, MA 02301. The Brockton VA Healthcare System requires i-STAT Point test cartridges for direct patient care. The impact of not having I-STAT analyzers is that patient test results would be slower than required for such services as CCU, OR, Cardiac Cath., Imaging, and Emergency Room. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 334516. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6630.
