This BPA is for supplies needed to operate the Xenium Anaylzer and will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is Sole Source. In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming.
