The period of performance is one 6-month base period followed by four 12-month option periods. During the base period, VA INS will provide the Contractor with a minimum of 1000 cases including cases selected from each tier as described in PWS Table 1. VA INS will evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor s locator and outreach services during the base period to determine if the option period will be renewed and to estimate volumes of cases from each tier to be referred for locator and outreach services in subsequent option periods.
