## Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a non-competitive sole-source requirement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); the number is 36C10B25Q0479.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OlT), Infrastructure Operations (IO) requires continued software maintenance from Chicago Soft, LTD (CSL) (the incumbent) for software products currently in use at VA.

The software maintenance is necessary for IO to receive software upgrades and updates to existing software to include major releases, point releases, service releases and security releases on a quarterly basis, and/or within forty-eight (48) hours in cases where a high-risk vulnerability fix is required. The Contractor shall provide one (1) telephone number and/or a point of contact for VA to contact and initiate maintenance service calls.

The vendor shall provide secure connection capabilities for the downloading of software updates and/or the uploading of diagnostic information. The preferred protocol for transfer is Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). The base period of performance is 12 months from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. This effort also includes four (4) 12-month option periods. This action is a sole source requirement to Chicago Soft, LTD, 2456 Christian St, U1, White River Junction, VT 05001 which is a small business. See attached document: RFQ 36C10B25Q0479.
