The SEC requires a service that provides standard and derived historical data on U.S. common stocks, U.S. government bonds, mutual funds, and basic market indices. These data shall be delivered to the SEC via Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS), a web-accessible research platform that enables data to be retrieved and analyzed. The NAICS code is 519290. The contracting officer has determined that Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) because CRSP, an Affiliate of the University of Chicago is the only source that provides the datasets through the WRDS platform which provides the required service. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one (1) base year with four (4) one (1) year options. The total estimated value of this purchase order is below the simplified acquisition threshold. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to CRSP on or about March 31, 2024. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued.
