(Cage 06433). Only General Electrodynamics Corp can perform the necessary upgrades due to the proprietary nature of the technical data for the hydraulic system. This procurement will provide the best value to the Government at this time. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The anticipated quantity is 48 unit upgrades over a 5 year period. The requirement is for GEC MD8060 Scale Force Press Manual Upgrades in accordance with the Purchase Description, which is available for download at this site. A copy of the approved J&A is also posted with this notification. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by AFMETCAL.
