Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to provide all management, labor, materials, tools and machinery to PHNSY to troubleshoot and repair to restore the 1 MW generator to full operation condition. If the generator cannot be restored to the full operational condition after the trouble shooting and top end tear down due to additional repairs and parts required, contractor shall submit condition found report and a quote with detailed price breakdown to the TPOC/COR for validation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the small business size standard is $12,500,000. The Product Service Code is J049 – Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment – Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
