## Description

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch Medical Readiness Contracting Office–West (MRCO-West) MEDCOM, Fort Cavazos, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Fujifilm Sonosite Inc. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items Fujifilm Sonosite LX Ultrasound System, Transducer and Printer, B&W Hybrid Graphic, SO for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Ft Cavazos on or about 1 April 2024. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1,250 number of employees size standard.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Steris Corporation. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch Medical Readiness Contracting Office–West (MRCO-West) intends to make a sole source award to Fujifilm Sonosite Inc, 21919 30th DR SE, Bothell, WA 98021-3904 NOTE: INTERESTED VENDORS, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE NO LATER THAN 1300 HOURS CST ON OR BEFORE 14 March 2024.
