Aqua-Glo kits measure free water contents within petroleum products dispensed to aircraft, turbine engines, or vehicular equipment. Water content contained in petroleum products at higher altitudes increases the risk of engine failure due to potential icing in aircraft fuel systems at higher elevations. Excessive water content contained in petroleum products degrade the additive Fuel System Icing Inhibitor and increases injury to aviators and operators due to systems malfunctions. Combat Aviation Brigade requires comprehensive servicing and repair of approximately 100 Aqua-Glo Kits to restore them to fully mission capable status. Interested vendors must demonstrate: 1. Proficiency in servicing and repairing of Aqua-Glo Kits. 2. A thorough understanding of the equipment and its maintenance needs. 3. The capability to replace expendable components as necessary.
