**Notice of Intent to Sole Source SUBJECT:** 2024 Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Align, Modernize, and Prepare (AMP)

**SUMMIT – USAMEDCOM Support Service PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:** National Conference Center (NCC) Leesburg, VA. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Fort Sam Houston, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract, on a sole source basis to:

National Conference Center (NCC) Leesburg, VA.

**DESCRIPTION:** The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), on behalf of the Department of the Army, intends to award a sole source Contract for 5 days, to support the USAMEDCOM activity to host an AMEDD AMP Summit in Leesburg, VA. The primary NAICS Code for this requirement is 531120, Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Mini warehouses) Services, with a size standard of $34,000,000.

**DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:** This is a new requirement to support the USAMEDCOM activity to host an AMEDD AMP Summit 25-29 August 2024 in Leesburg, VA to address critical gaps and identify opportunities within the Army Medical enterprise based on the findings of the organization. USAMEDCOM is acquiring Conference support services for lodging support of at least 85 rooms to include meals, support accommodations, designated parking for personnel, and the use of two conference rooms with IT and refreshment support.

The mission of this summit is to address critical gaps and identify opportunities within the Army Medical enterprise based on the findings of the organization. It is designed to provide AMEDD personnel a forum to synchronize on the current state of Army medicine and work together to develop critical pathways and future initiatives. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement that your firm has the ability to start performance on 25 August 2024, no later than 0700 (CST), 19 August 2024 of this posting which shall be considered by the government. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this contract requirement, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
