Authentix Inc. is the sole-source provider of all services related to the Quality Evaluation Detector (QED). Because the systems are proprietary and require access to classified information for proper servicing, Authentix does not engage third-party vendors to perform system-level services. The anticipated Period of Performance is for one (1) twelve-month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. The places of performance will be performed at the contractor's repair depot location. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
