The NotaMesh Screens are an essential part needed to produce screen plates for printing United States (U.S.) currency at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP). The NotaMesh Screens are proprietary and can only be acquired from Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. Therefore, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to K&B in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
