The solvent is used by Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) on its Currency Overprinting Processing Equipment (COPE) Press equipment. The product allows BEP to meet the lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) requirements of the District of Columbia while offering the best performance on the COPE press equipment without impacting banknote quality and safety of BEP employees. The BEP intends to sole-source this requirement and award to Ecolink Inc.The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 325199, All Other Basic Organic Chemical Manufacturing. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. If you feel your firm can provide the required solvent described above, please submit a capability statement by 2:00PM EDT, 4 March 2025. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Anyresponse to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
