The required spare parts are described below: BEP Item # MAP5407- Switch, Cable-Operated, ATEX, Buhler P/N UXE -26082-013 BEP Item # MAP5383- Medium Pressure Filter 1, Buhler P/N UNS -29021-021 Both spare parts required above are manufactured and are proprietary to Buhler Inc. There are no other sources that are capable of supplying the required OEM spare parts other than Buhler Inc. BEP does not possess the required capabilities in terms of labor, machinery or materials to produce these items. Therefore, the Government has determined that this procurement can only be acquired from the OEM contractor, Buhler Inc. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to sole-source this requirement and award to Buhler Inc. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 333248, All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. If you feel your firm can provide both spare parts listed above, please submit a capability statement no later than 4:00PM (EDT), 22 November 2024. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.
