This contract will renew the OCC’s existing subscription for that service. The Factiva service provides several features that make it unique. See below: Factiva has a global news database that contains more than 33,000 sources. Offers customizable alerting and visualization capabilities allowing it to track and save searches. Provides Dow Jones’ media monitoring and intelligence solutions. Offers news resources that include national, international, regional, and local news resources, including major publications like the New York Times, Reuters, and Wall Street Journal. Contents can be viewed in PDF, Excel, etc. formats. News resources include image files, charts, and graphs in the articles. News articles are current, updated regularly, and available on or before the date of publication. The database contains separate modules in the subject areas: risk and compliance; companies and markets. The database can be accessed through Factiva’s mobile app. The period of performance for this requirement will be a Base Year plus Four (4) Option Years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received within 7 days after the date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC.
