The system will be used specifically for military aircraft maintenance heat treating of precipitation hardening (PH) stainless steels, titanium, and ferrous alloys. The Government references the Delta H Defender Series Dual Chamber Aerospace Heat Treating Furnace System (Model: DEF-DC-RH-241236/2000-RH-241636/2000-SR) as the baseline of standard and performance. quotes offering "Equal" alternative systems will be evaluated on whether the proposed equipment meets or exceeds the following objective salient characteristics: 1. General System Architecture & Compliance Standard & Specification Compliance: The furnace system must meet all requirements of USAF Technical Order (T.O.) 1-1A-9 and qualify to SAE AMS2750H. Configuration: Vertically stacked dual-chamber design with two independently operated radiant heating chambers. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA): Must include complete NFPA standard-compliant documentation. Technical Documentation: Must deliver full electrical schematics, complete bill of materials (BOM), list of recommended spare parts, operating and maintenance manuals, and certified calibration records. 2. Upper Radiant Heat Chamber Operating Temperature: Rated for continuous operation at 2,000°F.
