## Description

Published In Accordance with FAR Subpart 9.2, Qualifications Requirements.

(1) Intent to establish a qualification requirement. Establishment of a qualification requirement for tailor made flight suits (uniforms) for members of the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron. Uniforms must meet safety, operational, and mission requirements.

(2) The specification number and name of the product. Tailor made flight suit for Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron Members.

(3) The name and address of the activity to which a request for the information and opportunity described in 9.202(a)(2) should be submitted. Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron nfds_supply@us.navy.mil (4) The anticipated date that the agency will begin awarding contracts subject to the qualification requirement.

August 2025 (5) A precautionary notice that when a product is submitted for qualification testing, the applicant must furnish any specific information that may be requested of the manufacturer before testing will begin; and A sample of four (4) flight suits (Royal Blue (2), Navy Blue, and Anniversary Yellow) are required to be manufactured and submitted for the purpose of determining that the Contractor, prior to award for production, can produce uniforms that comply with the iconic and recognizable design, uniformity, safety and technical requirements of the contract.

Contractors should expect to measure four (4) individuals in person and produce four (4) prototypes/samples for evaluation. (6) The approximate time period following submission of a product for qualification testing within which the applicant will be notified whether the product passed or failed the qualification testing (see 9.202(a)(4)).
