The Library of Congress, Contract and Grant Directorate, intends to award a sole-source contract to, Digital Transitions Inc., 35 W 35th St., Rm 1001, New York, NY 10001-2205. The estimated period of performance is from one (1) from the time of award. The Contractor shall provide additional essential digitization hardware and software systems to continue the Library’s digitization work on items that are digitized in specialized facilities in the Library. The contractor will provide the components configured as detailed in the Justification and Approval document attached to this notification. The system listed here includes the software the provides required features and an enclosure specifically designed and engineered to support digitization activities, by creating the appropriate physical environment for digitization to occur in, based on requirements found in the FADGI Still Image Guidelines.
