## Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. Customs and Border Protection intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with vendor Fire Protection Service Corp for a Hirsch Velocity Access Control System Upgrade.

The Contractor shall provide and install upgraded Hirsch Velocity access control system components, including software, server, and controllers, along with submission and compliance processes with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal in accordance with the requirements of this SOW. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitation will be made available.

Interested parties who wish to submit information about their companies’ capabilities can email the contract specialist no later than 5:00 PM, Eastern Time, 7/29/2025. Information should be emailed to amoz.j.samuel@cbp.dhs.gov, no phone calls accepted. It has been determined that it would be of greater value to CBP to maintain the expertise of the aforementioned contractor, than to contract with a new company that would need to learn GSA and New Orleans historical society requirements and regulations. This would come at the expense of USBP personnel who would have issues with door access, security, and delayed emergency response times.
