The removal and disposal of manure will ensure the health of the horse patrol herd as well as improve the efficiency of the service by not requiring horse patrol agents to haul and dispose of the manure themselves thereby freeing up agents to patrol the border. The contractor will provide a steel dumpster with a cover to be placed at the specified locations. This steel dumpster will be used by agents assigned to the HPU to properly dispose of manure accumulated from the herd of horses assigned to the NC HPU. This is a daily requirement to maintain the health of the herd and the cleanliness of the horse patrol facility. See Statement of Work for requirements.
