The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), United States Border Patrol (USBP), Tucson Sector (TCA), requires the use of an indoor firing range for quarterly firearms qualification purposes. Currently, TCA does not have a Government owned firearms facility and must contract with private firearms facilities in order to fulfill firearms training requirements. Through extensive market research, it has been determined that only 520 TACTICAL LLC can meet all of TCA’s requirements to include range size requirements, operating/access hours and/or distance requirements from TCA's Headquarters as required by the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Friday, March 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Contracting Officer Benjamin Dorgan by Friday, March 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
