The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), United States Border Patrol (USBP), Yuma Sector (YUM) has a requirement to secure a firing range facility for the ongoing training and qualification needs of mission personnel. Of the limited offerings within a 150-mile radius, only ADAIR RANGES INC offers the combination of weekday and night usage, diversity of range lengths, types of weapons supported, and the capacity to support 4,300 personnel firing sessions per year. Given the unique requirements of the range to be provided, and the lack of other existing facilities that can meet the necessary capabilities required, this action is limited to a single available contractor. This proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 am Arizona Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Contract Specialist Benjamin Dorgan by Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 am Arizona Time.
