## Description

Sole Source Justification added. Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement to Rubbage Control Services LLC (PO Box 790, Ajo, AZ 85321-2035) for trash services over a 12-month period of performance for the following locations:

**Location 01:** AJO Station - 850 North Highway 85, Ajo, Arizona 85321 6 each, six-yard containers emptied 3 times per week 4 each, four-yard container emptied 3 times per week Location 02: Ajo Checkpoint - State Route 85, Mile Marker 18, Ajo, Arizona 85321 7 each, 35-gallon containers emptied once a week Rubbage Control has been found to be the only contractor to be able to meet the requirements of the Ajo Station.

This proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Monday, July 29, 2024, at 08:00 am Arizona Time.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Any vendors who believe they can provide the proof of ability to meet the requirements should email or fax their company's capabilities information to the attention of Contracting Officer Frank S. Duarte by Monday, July 29, 2024, at 08:00 am Arizona Time. Email submissions must be sent to the following address: frank.s.duarte@cbp.dhs.gov. No phone calls or fax submittals. Information submitted should fully support the company's capability to meet the requirements of the USBP Ajo Station.
