The American Center is the public engagement space at the U.S. Embassy in Windhoek. The space is only operational when programs and trainings are offered and does not accommodate walk-in patrons. The space has a strong focus on capacity building and when fully operational will offer regular Internet- and Information Technology-based, online and hybrid engagements. The vision for the space is to connect 200 user devices directly to virtual platforms during online and/or hybrid programs. The contract will be for a period of one-year, and will be expected to commence October 1, 2024.
