The solicitation covers the remodeling of two bathrooms in the US Embassy Madrid, Spain, to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. The anticipated performance period is 60 calendar days after the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The final performance period will be included in the solicitation. The Government is planning a site visit to inspect the area where the works will take place, the date will be included in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain.
