The Embassy of the United States in Senegal will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The Embassy of the United States in Dakar, SENEGAL intends to launch a solicitation for Garbage and Trash Collection services. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021). If you are a qualified firm and wish to submit an offer, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial offers, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. Quotations are due by July 15, 2024, at 12:00 noon (local time). No offer will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Your quotation must be submitted separately one technical and one financial via this electronic mail address DakarSolicitation@state.gov .
