Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Muscat Oman will launch the solicitation on the website ( https://om.usembassy.gov/contracting-opportunities-at-embassy/ ) when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a Base year with Four one-year periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced technically-acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. Interested offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a Firm fixed type contract.
