## Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award Sole Source extension for Locally Employed Staff Health Insurance at U.S. Embassy Lilongwe. This modification will be under NAICS code 524114 to Medical Aid Society of Malawi (MASM). The estimated period of performance is up to 8 months.

This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MASM, is considered as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The services will be provided in Lilongwe, Malawi .

This is not a request for proposal and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.

**Response Information:** This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any interested party that believes it can meet the requirements described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement. Responses must be submitted in writing to the point of contact listed below and must be received no later than March 28th, 2025, 17:00 PM Local Time.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
