## Description

The requirement is to provide cubicle furniture at in the OPDAT Office. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is $12,650 including options. These supplies/services require that furniture be provided with similar quality and style to those provided by the OBO Interior Design office.

This will allow the Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance, and Training to accomplish their mission byproviding them with enough seating for their staff, Furniture for embassies is typically purchased through contracts held with OBO Washington for specific suppliers. Due to a short turn around time on a new position and the potential that the contract for this position will not go beyond more than a couple tours, OBO Washington agreed that we could purchase furniture locally.

This was only allowed ifthe furniture provided was of equal quality and similar style to that provided by OBO. They agreed to the selection of Kate.lv - a high quality furniture brand. Market research was completed by the Facility Manager which involved searching online for suppliers and visiting major design centers to see what was available. Other suppliers that were considered: 1. Kimko - they are a supplier of Esto furniture.

They did not offer a custom build, only parts and pieces that would have to be cobbled together by FAC(similar to IKEA). Their offerings were also lower quality. a. https://www.kimko.lv/eng/furniture/office-furniture/ 2. AnDeko - they had beautiful cubicle furniture, but their available styles didn't match those at the Embassy or provided by OBO. a. https:llandeko.lv/en/office-furniture.html# Kate.lv was selected because of the quality and style furniture available. Their design was presented to OBO and approved by an interior designer.
