## Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Copenhagen, Denmark will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation is for standard school bus services (regular school and after school programs), exclusive to dependents of U.S. Government employees under Chief of Mission authority in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The anticipated performance period is for a base period, with one (1) one-year option period, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract type with a fixed unit price. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. In preparation for a solicitation in FY-2024, we would like to bring your attention a crucial requirement outlined in the DOSAR 652.242-73.

This requirement mandates that all vendors possess the necessary licenses and permits to conduct business in Denmark. It is essential to ensure compliance with all Danish regulations and legalities to operate successfully in the country. Specifically, the Danish Tax authorities expect businesses to obtain a CVR number and fulfill VAT obligations. You should review local laws before submitting a quotation. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
